Lavande

The realm of lavender is situated in the plains and hills of Provence. The essential oil of lavender, gained by a careful distillation, has antibacterial and antiseptic effects that are utilized in a number of preparations supporting the healing of wounds, skin diseases, eczemas (the ability of this essential oil to destroy microbes has been proven on the cultures of staphylococci), the more effective it is in antispastic and digestive therapies. It also supports stress relaxation and that’s why it is a felicitous option to sedatives. Cosmetic products with lavender have sedative and regenerative effects not only on the complexion but also on the organism. Preparations with essential oil of lavender are also used against rheumatism, swellings and contusions. The inhaling of essential oil has a positive effect in diseases of airways. And last but not least lavender has an important position in aromatherapy.
